Hi - just heard about this website. I served at Johnson Barracks from January 1965 to January 1967, Company C, 24th Engineers. I was a wheeled vehicle mechanic in the Motor Pool. Great to find this site. My first unit and some of my best memories of 24 yrs service. In 70-71 i had no idea 24 yrs later I would retire just down the road at W.O. Darby. Returned to Germany last time in Sep 88. Have lived in Zirndorf-Weiherhof ever since.
